Pickles & Iodized Salt For Those Watching Iodine Intake

I called Vlasic today about what kind of salt they use in their pickles as Vlasic is our favorite pickle maker. Well, the girl said they use iodized salt in one plant & in the other plant they do NOT use iodized salt. So you have to have all the codes on the label & jar to find out which plant the jar of pickles you are holding was made at. To us, it isn't worth it. We'll find another brand of pickles.

SO, I called Mt. Olive & they said they do not use iodized salt at all in their pickles. That means we'll be using Mt. Olive pickles from now on. :)
