Hi, I'm trying to compile a list of gluten/lactose free levothyroxine which I can go to my GP with because here in the Uk they seem to be rare. My GP is finally going to give me a 7 day trial on the syrup but due it being 80 a bottle has told me that I won't continue to be prescribed it unless I get an official coeliac dx so she can justify the cost. (I actually believe I'm allergic to either lactose or maize due to swelling in throat).

These are a few Ive found, but if anyone can add to it or knows about the UK availability/cost or correct me if ingredients have changed, please let me know:-

* Evotrox (syrup)
* Tirosint (capsules)
* Levothroid
* Levoxyl
* Armour
* Naturethroid

The syrup is the only one my GP says is available in the UK.

Ive sent an email to Tirosint (Akrimax Pharm) but am awaiting their reply re availability/cost).

Any advice appreciated.

Another syrup to add to list:-

Eltroxin (gluten and lactose free)
