Click " multi quote" under every post you want to reply to. (Had to try it a second to explain. ) Then a little blue rectangle will appear in the bottom right corner. Hit that to reply to all of them. You have to write your response after the last [ quote ]

The posts appear in the order you clicked on them, and you can respond to each individually by typing between the quotations.
You can type after the last one. You can also type before the first one--sometimes that makes sense.
It is easier and it's also fun.
yes, what P said........ Like this
I know, now I am just showing off . One time I did a quintuple quote on the dinner chat. Stunned them all.
LOL!

Too funny! I can't ( or maybe, won't ) tell you how long I was on this forum before I even saw a " multi- quote" button!

Don't worry, LJ; if it weren't for Darn210 I would still look like you.
I'll have to ask her if she'll do another for me. Or maybe IrishHeart will do it for you

Quotes within quotes is an advanced topic, requiring pasting and editing beyond the norm. But as shown, it can be done.Caramel color is one of those celiac urban myths that just won't go away.
Here is Shelley Case's take on it, from Gluten-Free Diet A Comprehensive Resource Guide:
[Emphasis in original]Although gluten-containing ingredients (barley malt syrup and starch hydrolysates) can be used in the production of caramel color, North American companies use corn as it has a longer shelf life and makes a superior product. European companies use glucose derived from wheat starch, however caramel color is highly processed and contains no gluten.
If Darn won't, I can have a go at it. I don't do Photobucket like she does...Don't worry, LJ; if it weren't for Darn210 I would still look like you.

For those who want to, you can select multiple posts for quotation in more than one thread.
