I am looking for a new rice as I found out today that the rice brand that I am currently using may have come in contact with red winter wheat by rail, truck or storage.  -Wonderful.

As a super sensitive that us not something that you want to hear.

Have you tried Texas Best rice?

I tried it and reacted.  From their website, it looks like it is grown and processed there on site, without possibility for exposure to wheat by rail, truck or storage.  It might be better than the one that you are using.  You may be less sensitive than I and find that you don't react to it.  I think that it is the best rice that I have come across so far.  It was tasty too.

I emailed them over a week ago to ask about transport and storage.  They did not email me back.  I think I will pass on this company.  Thanks for the info Steph.
