Why Aren't We Hungry Constantly?

Maybe its a dumb question, but when you are having a hard time absorbing nutrients, shouldn't the body's reaction be to make you eat more? By making you hungry all the time? I am talking about celiacs who have already been dx'd and follow the gluten free diet. before dx I could barely eat from all the nausea so thats a different story!

Mmmm i was like that as well before my dx. But even before that, i was constantly hungery. I would crave things. Now, over a year later on the diet, i don't. Maybe its because i get what i need? Who knows :)
