My daughter, 3, was just diagnosed with celiac. She had a horribly distended belly. She never has had issues with BM's, as I think she was incredibly uncomfortable and knew when one was coming. Urinating, on the other hand, has become a real issue recently. She's been potty trained for 6 months now and never had any accidents. She's had accidents during the day on and off for the last month where she can't make it all the way to the potty. Sometimes she is right next to it, other times she's no where near it. Is there a possible link to her new diet, or lack of gas in her gut that she has to adjust her timing for realizing when she has to urinate? In addition she has had only one night where she has not wet herself. Any thoughts/suggestions?
I also have a 3 month old baby, but I would have thought that if it was a reaction to that, the problem would have started a while back, not coinciding with the diagnosis.
