Hi Pam
I just finished my gluten challenge 2 days ago now im gluten-free again .I had to go on gluten for 2 1/2 months and I dont even know if it will show up.I was on the diet before I got any test done just like you except my dietician put me on the diet. The 2 /2 months were bad I didnt really care for a diagnoses I knew how I felt when I ate gluten but I had to get the test done for my parents. The diet is also a test itself .How did you happen to go gulten free ? just wondering .Who was it that wanted to know for sure if you had it was it you or you doc .

Hey I wrote Old El paso and this is what they told me

Dear Ms. Allen:

Thank you for contacting Old El Paso regarding gluten in Old El Paso products.

It is our primary goal to help our consumers determine whether or not they can include our products in their diet. To accurately accomplish this, we believe it is best to refer to the specific ingredients listed on each product package.

However, we do understand that ingredients can be confusing, so we want to assure you if the ingredient label does not list wheat, barley, rye, oats or other sources of gluten, then the product would be gluten-free. Sources of gluten are listed on the label even if the source of gluten is part of another ingredient (such as flavoring or spice). Because ingredients may vary from one package to another due to product reformulation, you should use the productís ingredient label to provide you with current and accurate information.

Additional information regarding gluten may be obtained by contacting your health care professional or:

Celiac Sprue Association/United States of America, Inc.
PO Box 31700
Omaha, NE 68131-0700

We hope this information is helpful.

Hey Racheleona im 15 and also Lactose intolernt .You can still have some of your favorite things they mite just not taste the same. You can get gluten-free muffin at the grocery store. Some stuff you could take to lunch are sandwhiches on gluten-free bread, rice, tuna. If you like peanut butter than you can make peanut butter cookies. All you need is 1 egg ,1 cup of sugar ,and 1 cup of peanut butter(make sure the peanut butter is gluten-free),fruits,veggies,skittles, regular lays chips (they might come across contamination tho),veggie cheese (its lactose free) .Im not sure if any of this will help but its worth suggesting

Heres a topic someone made before it has lunch ideas
