In Topic: This Was The Diagnosis

Karl, I hope you know that celiac disease and eosinophilic gastroenteritis can be connected? In fact, a gluten-free diet is still a good idea, as it is usually caused by allergies and intolerances.

Anyway, I hope you'll feel better soon.

Thank you for that information, I did go and eat a chocolate bar for the first time in almost 6 months, well just a bite LOL (we were going Lactose also).  Our young son, exibits the same symptoms as me, just not all the vomiting and other junk, and he's  responded very well to a gluten free diet.  He actually grew an inch and half in 1 month.  I know thats not alot but we were getting concerned.  This little guy might have a better chance than I did, thanks to places like this and new procedures and drugs.  Again, any more input on this diagnosis would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Karl

I skimmed all the post and everyone of them were concerning. I love this place more than you know and its helped my wife and I know that there is always something new to learn about this crummy body I live in. It could always be worse and I know that for sure. Again thanks for all the support, it really really helps coming from our new cyberfriends that have something in common, which unfortunately is this crazy disease. U never know I might just be a Koo Koo head and need to be committed. Sometimes feel that way

God Bless and wish me luck on Friday.

Karl , Tabatha's loving husband forever.

In Topic: How Does Oranges Affect You?

T-Birds the best, she's calling out the calvary on Monday I think. Tests, yuck, but now I have no choice. A simple orange caused tremendous pain for about 8 hours on Thursday, and today I still feel bad but it just comes and goes now. Burning, in the upper left hand side of my abdomen :o Ulcers, ACK.. I sure hope not, and thanks to all for helping us select my OTC medicines.

StrongerToday, thanks for the welcome. My wife and I just figured all this out a few months ago. And NoGlueGirl, THANK YOU, T-Bird will really appreciate all this information. We are very fortunate to have found such a friendly helpful group.

Sincerely,

Karl & Tabatha
