For a 1 crust, I use Pamela's bread flour mix...

Melt 1 stick of butter in a pie plate
add 2 tbs sugar (white or brown)
add 1 c Pamela's

Mix well in the pie plate until the flour and butter are well incorporated
Pat out into the pie plate
Refrigerate for 30 min before filling

Kinda tastes like shortbread. LOVE it for pumpkin pies!!

We were there in December. My kids went crazy for the giant turkey legs. One of those around 11 and those kids were good to go until 7-8pm!! Lots of little stands with fruit, chips, giant pickles, snacks, etc... Plus all the restaurants. It was a great experience! (well food-wise.... :rolleyes: )

This is my favorite recipe. I use Pamela's bread flour mix instead of regular flour. I use a stand mixer and no joke, they take about 5 minutes to prepare!! My hub says they're the best he's ever had and he normally doesn't like gluten-free baked goods.

My body doesn't tolerate meat very well at all, and I really don't like it-never have. I've considered putting in a serving of fish a week, but haven't made the jump yet. I know the cheese doesn't work on an actual Paleo diet, but because I can't eat a dozen eggs per day, greek yogurt and 1 serving of cheese per day are an added protein that I need. I eat nuts daily, lower carb fruits like berries, lots of veggies and almost nothing processed. I'm working on getting most of the grains out of my diet other than perhaps quinoa. It's still a work in progress ;) So, I guess I won't give it a name, because from what I've read on other blogs and forums, Paleo's take their diet waaaaaay serious. I don't wish to offend B)

I used to have a yeast like infection on the entire length of my tongue. I do not know how it got there since, I did not do anything nasty with it.

OMG, this sounds good and EASY! How large a box of penne do you use?

An 8oz box. It was the Hodgson Mills gluten-free penne.

5 minute lasagna

preheat oven to 350

in a big bowl mix together:
2 beaten eggs
15 oz container of ricotta
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
2 tbs italian seasoning
1 jar pasta sauce
1/2 jar of water
1 box of penne pasta (dry)

pour into baking dish
top with mozzerella

bake 350 for about 45min

Made NY steak, grilled asparagus and twice baked potatoes (TDF!!!!) for Valentine's Day yesterday. Leftovers tonight!!
