Hi.
Does anyone know of a margarine type product that is soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, preservative-free, hydrogenated oils-free and sea salt-free? Maybe something made with canola oil.
I saw something called Pure sunflower sold in UK.
Thanks.

Help! Have To Eat Gluten Again!
24 July 2007 - 10:21 AM
I have been gluten free for 7 weeks. Had my first normal bm in months today. Went to the doc today said I need to have another EGD/colon done . This time I have to eat gluten for two weeks staring tomorrow to make sure the test is accurate.
I am trying to get the courage to do so. I can't do the regular blood test because I have complete Iga deficiency.
When I think of the pain and hours I will spend in the "powder room" I get really scared. I am getting very depressed too. I am just starting to feel a bit better and now it is back to a living nightmare. My hubby is going to make sure I do as I am told because last time didn't and the procedure was canceled.
So, I guess I am just asking for pep talks and prayers. I know that you all have probably have gone though this also and I would appreciate some "I lived to tell about it"
Should I eat low gluten stuff or a little or what?
Thanks. This group is a blessing.

Cc In Microwave, Stove? Pitch Them?
22 July 2007 - 08:44 AM
Hi all.
I am trying to detox my kitchen from cross contamination. I am replacing a lot of things and I was wondering if I need to get rid of my microwave or my oven. My family has agreed to set up a mini kitchen in the basement but I want to know if that should include a new microwave and/or a stove - toaster oven. I am VERY sensitive. I have been trying to be gluten-free for one month now and I am still sick.
THANKS!!

What Do I Thow Out, What Do I Do, Will I Get Better?
18 July 2007 - 11:23 AM
I am completely lost in all of this. I don't know what I should be doing. I am spending hours on end in my "office" (the rest room) I have been trying to be gluten free for about one month now but don't seem to be getting better. I have lost 20lbs in the past two months. I am tired all the time. I drop things all the time. I can't remember the names of simple things when I look at them. Words come out wrong ... How long will it take for me to get better?
Do I have to really throw out all my kitchen utensils, pots & pans, bread machine, plastic cups and plates? How strict do I have to be? I am really sensitive. I also have allergies to soy, eggs, dairy (all forms).
My husband and son have no allergies. Will their consumption of gluten products bother me? If I make something with gluten for them do I have use a different pot etc ...
OK, I guess you all can tell I am not handling this all very well. With all the other medical problems I have I just am overwhelmed that now I have to deal with this.
Is there a book that out there that can help me with out overwhelming me? All this internet researching is getting me very depressed.
Thanks for letting vent.
