Treating Osteoporosis

I have osteoporosis--lots of celiacs do--and I have been trying to find information on options for treatment. I don't like the sounds of the bisphosphonates but that is often all the doctors offer. Here is some really excellent information, including a calculator you can use to estimate your risk if you know your T score. The site is written by a medical doctor who teaches at University of Washington.

What Soap And Shampoo Do You Use?

I've had a funny bumpy not-itchy rash on my face and neck for half a year now. I assumed it was food-based, perhaps caused by Candida, but perhaps it is not. It doesn't look or act like what I've read about DH. I have red hair and fair skin and break out at the least provocation but this is a new record. The dermatologist just shrugged. I've always used Neutrogena products, but they are being very unhelpful about ingredients. What do you all use?

I just wrote Neutrogena about three of their products. I got this puzzling response. Do you think that means the first two products have oats/rye/barley? It doesn't say so in the ingredients. Do non-edible products have to follow the stricter new labeling laws where the top ten allergens have to be specifically listed?

I did google Neutrogena on this site and I read the earlier gluten free lists people posted, but I am still confused.

Flu Shots, Mercury, And Leaky Gut

I have always gotten a flu shot every year, and it always makes me feel sick for a few days. I also have ongoing intestinal complications (leaky gut?)--suspected Candida and an ever-increasing list of food intolerances. Don't the flu shots contain mercury? Is it a bad idea to expose myself to the mercury? What do you all do? Are there any flu shots without mercury?
