For Flax seed - I use Hodgson Mill, milled flax seed (It says gluten free on the box), I add to smoothies, bread mixes, even baked goods, u could even add it to cereal.

For Aloe Juice- I buy Aloe Life, the orange papaya concentrate (I emailed the company and they assured me they are gluten free) , order it from Lame Advertisement it really is the best aloe juice I've tried.

Hope this helps

In Topic: Seriously, How Long Is This Going To Take?

19 November 2007 - 04:22 PM

Don't give up, although I can relate. I've been gluten-free and CF for about 5 months, I'm still having lots of problems. I never thought my irratability was ever gonna go away. It took about 4 months for my irratability to finally subside! So don't give up, and hope you feel better soon!

I tried apple cider vinegar for a few months but only got temporary relief. Try using Honey (1-2 tsp) everytime you get that feeling (GERD sufferers know what i mean). Sliced Red dilicious apples also work. Those are the best natural ways to help with GERD.
I'm currently taking aciphex for GERD which works great! The only problem is that my insurance only covers half the cost so I pay $70 for a month supply. It's completely worth it especially since prilosec, protonix, nexium and prevacid didn't work for me!
I hope you get better soon.

In Topic: Egg Allergy?

Iam very allergic to eggs (both yolk and whites). For me, I get horrible stomach pain/cramping and then I seriously can't move for the rest of the day!
