I was first diagnosed with Celiac via blood work in 2007. I went on the gluten-free diet then, and stayed on it until March of 2009 when I had my endoscopy. I was diagnosed via tissue sample at that point. I have Iron deficiency anemia and Vitamin D deficiency. They also suspect Crohns..but that is another story.
Prior to diagnosis my biggest issues were cramps and bloating and feeling extremely tired. I finally feel like I am alive again, and with so many new gluten free options on the market now, it makes life a lot easier.
