I can't eat a lot of things other people eat. I can't touch, smell, or be in contact with a lot of things other people touch, smell, and live around. It doesn't define who I am. I have become a better person and am more in touch with who I am and what I stand for. I have also learned a lot about the world since that day back in 2007 when I first learned of this mysterious substance called gluten.
I wouldn't say that being on a gluten free (and many other foods free) diet has brought me to complete health. I definitely feel discouraged sometimes, but I am excited for the future and for finding a doctor who can help me in solving this mystery of my body and my health.
