A little bit about me:
* I am 25
* I have a chihuahua named Beau
* Hypothyroid (Officially Dx'd in 2005, unofficially since around 2000)
* Got my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis Dx in September of 2009, was tested for Celiac at the same time and my blood antibodies came back negative
* Dx'd Gluten Sensitive by EnteroLab June of 2010 (reccommended to follow a lifelong gluten/casein free diet)
EnteroLab results:
*Fecal Anti-gliadin IgA 29 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)
*Fecal Anti-tissue Transglutaminase IgA 16 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)
*Quantitative Microscopic Fecal Fat Score Less than 300 Units (Normal Range is less than 300 Units)
*Fecal Anti-casein (cow’s milk) IgA 13 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)
*HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 1 0602
*HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 2 0602
*Serologic equivalent: HLA-DQ 1,1 (Subtype 6,6)
It would be nice to find people to be able to talk with that understand what I'm going through. This site is a great palce to start doing just that! It'd be even greater to find people in the Richmond area or any Gluten-Intolerance/Celiac groups near by where I can meet people. If anyone knows of any please inbox me!! I'd like to make some friends :-)
