Does anyone here know the difference between TTG, EMA and DGP blood tests? I know they all assess the extent of tissue antibodies but don't assess the body's reaction to gluten.

I don't know off hand, but I would highly recommend getting a copy of Dr. Peter Green's book - Celiac Disease a Hidden Epedemic, he covers all of these tests in that book in a way that is easy for the reader to understand.

I have this upper left quadrant pain as well; this is the pain that caused me to get an endoscopy & colonoscopy & CT scan to see what was going on. None of them showed a thing, except for visible scalloping in the intestine, which upon further review, turned out to be Celiac Sprue.

The pain that I have is worse when driving, sitting for long periods of time, eating fatty foods and eating in general (but especially with fatty foods). It's odd, and I haven't been able to find anything that conclusively aggravates or helps it, despite seeing help through many different avenues.

Does anyone that has this had a follow-up biopsy to see if things are truly healed up?

Has anyone with this pain been able to overcome it, and if so how?

What about the facility where it is processed? Do they sample the product to ensure it is indeed Gluten Free?

ever since I stopped taking the digestive enzymes my situation has deteriorated again. back to loose bowels again after months of bathroom bliss. going to restart enzymes once the stool specimen goes off for testing again...

How long have you been gluten-free? What types of enzymes are/were you taking?

I had some issues with fat digestion a few weeks back, but apparently that was at least partially caused by some gluten that snuck its way into my diet. I have been chatting with some others and hypothesizing that fat digestion problems are actually caused by continued inflammation - which could be caused by either continued trace gluten exposure OR by some other food allergen causing continuous inflammation.

I am wondering if you are constantly getting some trace amounts of gluten as well? I have been looking on some other websites and finding lots of products I thought were "safe" actually test positive for Gluten..... :-/
