#658705 Pancake Mix...failed, Twice.

Posted by on 06 December 2010 - 12:36 PM

I absoutely love gluten-free Bisquick for pancakes. I really think they taste just like regular Bisquick pancakes. I use whole milk and I've topped them with applesauce, yogurt or syrup and really just can't say enough about that mix. I tried it for their Impossible Cheesburger Pie and the whole family loved it.

#658405 Looking For Two Recipes & A Question

My cookies get crumbly too. I just look at it as excuse to eat a lot of cookies fresh out of the oven :) I wonder if storing them with a piece of bread would work?
I just made some and kept the dough in the fridge (or freezer would work too) and baked a dozen or two as I needed them.

I'm feeling so so lazy today. Just remembered I have gluten-free Bisquick so I'm making Impossible Cheesburger Pie. Quick, tasty and easy but not necessarily healthy :)

#658024 Do You Tell When Someone Makes You Sick?

Posted by on 03 December 2010 - 06:35 AM

I do now. At Thanksgiving (at my house) everyone watched as DD2 walked around with a Saltine cracker. I grabbed it out of her hand, frustrated because noone had let me know. My mother (gluten-free herself) said something like well, it was only a little bite. That was my perfect opportunity to address a stiuation over the summer-she had accidentally (I hope) gotten some gluten and had diarrhea for 3 days. I treated it very lightly but wanted to let everyone know that it is serious........and real! Hopefully this works for a while!

Love this thread! We had a venison roast in the crockpot yesterday. I made it with carrots, celery and potatoes. Tonight I'm making gravy out of the "juice" and leftover meat and veggies.
