#711093 Feel Like I Am Finally Starting To Get Somewhere

Posted by Diane-in-FL on 22 June 2011 - 06:02 PM

That sounds like me last year. Our Wal-Mart is 30 miles away and after a while, I just wouldn't go. Isn't it wonderful to realize that you may be getting your life back? Happy for you! :)

#709740 People Who "bailed" When You Were Sick/crippled With Pain?

Posted by Diane-in-FL on 17 June 2011 - 04:14 PM

I too have a very supportive husband. He has been fantastic. He loves to cook and has taken it upon himself to experiment with lots of different recipes. I haven't had anybody actually "bail" on me, but I don't have much family left here anyway. Some friends seem not really interested when I mention success with a recipe or something, so I've stopped talking about it. I think when we move to Florida later this year there might be some challenges. My husband's brother and his wife will want us to go out with them a lot and have holidays at their place and I hope they will understand my issues. I don't want to be a bother, but don't want to turn into a hermit either. :(

#702864 B12 Deficiency In Untreated Celiac?

If you are still eating gluten, you probably are not absorbing the B12. Try the sublingual kind....they will get into your system better.

Pepto Bismol is safe for us. I have seen posts on here about it. I take it.....no problems. Hope you feel better soon. :)

#697809 I Had My Colonoscopy Thursday.

Posted by Diane-in-FL on 08 May 2011 - 11:58 AM

Yes, I have had mine, but, for some of us, the prep is absolutely awful. :( I guess it depends on your doctor and what method he or she uses. The procedure itself was a piece of cake and they didn't find anything, so I'm glad for that. But I will be VERY reluctant to ever have another one.

"My motto is that if I didn't make it and I can't read a label for it, I can't have it."

Jenn......I really like this motto!

Kinnikinnick makes a really good hamburger bun. Have you tried them?

#677712 My Parents? I Need Advice!

Posted by Diane-in-FL on 23 February 2011 - 10:01 AM

If you did get diagnosed, maybe your doctor needs to talk with your parents to emphasize how important this is. They seem way too nonchalant about it. Good luck!

#668991 A Couple Of Days Of Disappointments

I like Arrowhead Mills Organic Rice & Shine. It's a brown rice hot cereal. I usually add golden raisins to it. :)
