Please keep us posted and let me know how the medication works for you. Just a side line - you may find you have a lot of gas with this - but that sure beats the alternative :)

Lots of luck and hoping the big D is alleviated.

I am not eating gluten - been free for 3 months and I do not have dairy either - but I have noticed that if I eat too much starch or sugar - I tend to have problems. I cannot tolerate potatoes, rice, cereals, fruits and vegetables or fructose very well. Problem is, when I stay off complex carbohydrates - I tend to always feel hungry. :(

Even though I am gluten free - I still am having problems with foods. Once I have the nocturnal diarrhea - I am usually good for the day - not always - but most of the time. I do not know why it takes so long to have a reaction and why it happens during the night....

The only way a person could get access was by being a member of the forum so we did not have the worry of outside people coming in.

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea. Before hand, you could have an agenda of topics to discuss and then make a date for the chat. What a fun way to meet other members, too :)

If you are interested in Elaine Gottschall's diet - here is a link to a web site that tells you something about her book including a list of legal and illegal foods. Her diet does require you to give up a lot, though.
