Probiotics, plenty of liquids, eating greens (like kale), making sure to eat healthy fats, and magnesium supplements like Natural Calm have always helped me.

In Topic: Today Show Calls Celiac A "trendy" Disease

This has been a very frustrating week. First the Domino's thing, and then the Today Show. It really pisses me off. Celiac Disease is NOT a trend, companies and celebrities going their version of "gluten free" for weight loss is trend. I hated how cavalier she was about it, too.

Just wanted to add, if you're using a Mac you can take two types of screenshots: Shift-Cmd-3 will take a screenshot of your whole screen and save it to your desktop. Shift-cmd-4 will take a screenshot of an area that you select on your screen, and then save it to your desktop. Since image attachments don't seem to be working correctly on the forums, you can use a hosting service like http://tinypic.com/ or http://imageshack.us/ to upload them.

Wow, way to go out on a limb, boys.

They've admitted that it's not safe for Celiacs, and personally I wouldn't suggest that people with wheat allergies or gluten intolerance try it either. Honestly, I feel like they are exploiting the gluten-free diet fad that's getting a lot of publicity right now (Miley, Kim) and possibly trying to tap into the primal/paleo market as well. I guess some people will be happy with the product, but I know I certainly won't be trying it.

I've been contacting news stations and papers suggesting it as a feature. Talk to more people about it. Start a blog and share your story with the interwebs. Or just continue to be an awesome support community :)
