In Topic: Coping With Fatigue

31 July 2012 - 12:30 PM

Hi,

I have looked through the forum and could not find any threads relating to this , I am sure there some. I was diagnosed a Celiac a few years back and I believe I cope very well but the fatigue really bothers me. I have tried all different kinds of diets, I am currently on a fruit and veg only, "Arnold Ehret mucusless diet" and I feel great most of the time, going without any grains, meats or dairy products. I have tried all different energy shakes and foods that supposedly increase energy levels but they rarely work for me.

I have also tried Multivitamin pills, protein shakes designed for energy but still I feel tired throughout the daytime. My skepticism regarding multivitamins has grown as I believe eating the right amount of foods should allow your body to get the required nutrition. Playing sports and the few hours after is the only time when I feel energetic but unfortunately I cant play sports everyday due to work.

What am I missing in my diet? I would be really grateful if someone would share the secret of overcoming fatigue!

Michael

Have you discussed it with your Doctor? I'd wonder if maybe there is a secondary problem, or maybe just Cross contamination, I know CC is generally what kills my energy level's
you could always try B12 shots or sub-linguals

In Topic: Anyone Taking A Vitamin B12 Supplement?

28 June 2012 - 09:36 AM

I took one 500mcg B12 supp pill 2 days ago and I vow here and now I will never touch the stuff again! I have WAY TOO MUCH energy, like a drank a hundred cups of coffee, I'm jittery, panicky, heart palpitations, I hate it.

Anyone ever experience this, and if so, what'd you do to get over it? I already threw the pills out (Nature Made 500mcg), but need to flush this outta me somehow...

lol ! I just noticed your post on B12 as I posted mine, I had the opposite effect, the ingredients in mine "Jamieson B12 100mcg" may have made me sick xD

I kinda wish I could get a boost from mine >_> that's an intense reaction.

Ha! That seems so interesting too, but the side affect are just not worth it at all!

It's like when you find a new brand of corn chips, then you read the label the ingredients say: Corn, water, salt, whatever....then in small print it says "may contain wheat".

Ha, Ha! it's like when you can't eat corn and you find a new bag of corn chips and go aweee ff those look delicious lol
It's a trap >_>

I never heard of it either so had to look it up. Sounds like it has been around awhile in Oriental medicine. If you decide to try it make sure you don't have any of the stuff going on that contraindicates it's use.
