HELP!!! I'm wanting to make some gluten-free bread but all the recipes call for tons of different flours/starches!

Does anyone have a good bread recipe that is simple enough for a busy mom to make?

We ran blood test for celiac as well. So, I at least have an answer as to why I've been feeling so bad.

Did anyone else deal with Insomnia issues? I have NEVER had a problem sleeping untill the past 6 months (right around when the GI issues occured cronically)

I have an 8 year old who suffers many of the same symptoms I do but unlike most celiac children he is considerably overweight, no matter how much/little/what types of food he eats. Nor how much excercise he gets he rapidly gains.

Not diabetic so with all my issues coming up his dr put two and two together and decided to do food allergy testing and is suggesting we de-gluten him so see if his weight decreases and to see if his tummy issues and moods improve.

Sigh...it's bad enough knowing I might have a problem but having my poor son maybe having the same problem breaks my heart

Hi I'm new here! My name is Jen and I have had horrible GI issues for as long as I can remember.

For two years I have barely had a day where my tummy has felt "ok" I saw a GI in 09 and they diagnosed me with a Hiatal Hernia of the esophagus and IBS.

They flat out refused to test for celiac even tho the ONLY symptom I do not have according to the Dr's is weight loss. But..I do know celiac's and most of them developed it in adult hood and did not have the rapid weight loss.

So I lived with it and I'm seeing a new GI next week and I hope this one listens to me.

I've gotten to where I can't hardly eat and everytime I do, I bloat and cramp and all sorts of nasty side effects. I also developed anxiety attacks and insomnia over this because I don't have one moment where I feel normal. But I don't want to try going gluten free untill I talk to my dr incase they want to do testing. Sigh....

I guess I'm tired of feeling like "poo" and need to talk to people who understand
