#847867 Contamination=No Energy

Posted by shadowicewolf on 10 January 2013 - 02:34 PM

What i do when i've got no energy (not nessisairly due to CC, but as a college student), if i have the time, i will try to just sleep. Bad things happen when i try to get something done when i'm like that.

#845494 Walmart And Gluten Free Section

Posted by shadowicewolf on 29 December 2012 - 04:21 PM

Indeed!

I do not do much shopping in the 'middle' isles. I may go down them to find a spacific thing (peanut butter i'ma lookin' at you), but elsewise i steer clear.

For example, the one store i normally go to has a gluten free section, but they also put 'organic' things at the bottom row....

#843588 How To Know If It's Really Gluten Free?!

Posted by shadowicewolf on 17 December 2012 - 10:43 AM

What i do is i tell the waiter and keep reminding them. Its no different then notifying them that ya have a peanut or a shellfish allergy. They may not know what it is, so sometimes you can say you're allergic to whatever it is you can't have. They definently know that one.

#843279 The Funny Pages - Tickle Me Elbow 2

Posted by shadowicewolf on 15 December 2012 - 08:44 PM

Way to go Shadow....should be smelling heavenly there in a few minutes :)

I don't doubt it will be :)

Oh i can't wait. I haven't had something with a crumbly stuffs on top since before i went gluten free. Muffins and coffee cakes of this nature used to be my all time favorite before then too. Granted, the crumbles are a bit smaller than what the recipie i followed said (gluteny one) but it should come out fine :)

I just put my coffee cake thing in the oven. I was good i didn't eat any of the batter (used to do this alot as a child), but i did take a few bites of the crumble on top (rice flour, brown sugar, and butter). I had to make sure it would come out right :) I may post a picture on here when its done

#843241 Miserable Student

I think its very possible that you have another intolerance that decided to show up after going gluten free. I've read on here some people, for example, have the same reaction to corn as they do to wheat.

Just some food for thought.

#842767 Wheat In Nz And Australia Has No Affect On Me

Just because you have no outward signs of celiac, does not mean that it isn't doing damage.

If i remember right, thats not enough. Cat eats the food, cat licks itself, you pet the cat, so on and so forth.

#840905 Get The 'shivers'

Posted by shadowicewolf on 04 December 2012 - 10:56 AM

When i was younger, I very rarely had good days (the system of green (good) yellow (could be better) and red (bad) is what my class used). I was always on yellow and on a rare occasion red. I have a dx of ADHD. The diet has helped some, i can sit still and pay attention a bit better than before, but there are still issues (like i can't concentrate on one thing at a time). For example, right now i've got the tv going, the computer, and i'm bouncing my leg. I cannot sit still for very long. Classes with swivle chairs are interesting as i tend to bounce about in them.

I say virus for the fever.

#840421 I Found This Very Interesting

Posted by shadowicewolf on 01 December 2012 - 08:08 PM

I wish they would do them as a manditory test for children who had vitamin issues (long story short, i had calcium laying problems as a child, my heel was jaggad at one point because of it).

The girls getting squished could definitely mess with connective tissue

Always better to error on the side of caution when chest pain is radiating.

Methinks they need to come up with a less painful test. Anyone with me?

I was lazy so my cheese-y mess will be rescheduled to tommorow due to a 5 hour nap.

#839456 I've Been Gluten Free For So Long, Yet I Still Get The Worst Stomach Aches

Posted by shadowicewolf on 27 November 2012 - 09:16 PM

It can take some people years (yes years) to get better.

I'm thinking you might have another food intolerence with this.

Keep a food diery. Write down everything you eat, and if you see a pattern with the stomach aches then cut the food out for a while.

Others on this site rave about probiotics, have you tried them?

#839041 Should I Re-Test?

Posted by shadowicewolf on 26 November 2012 - 11:53 AM

Insist on the biopsy before you start the diet. Not only is it a good chance to look for any other issues, but it might give you an idea of what is going on. Genetic test wouldn't be to far off either.
