I can't eat cheese and I can't absorb a lot of fats, frys, red meats, processed gluten-free stuff. Sends me to the bathroom. Maybe you should lay off anything fatty and see it it goes away.

I can now drink white wine. So I have some everyday. Probably more than I should. Give it time and try white wine when you are better.

We went to Fog Harbor, The Daily Grill and Sausalito's Crab House and Prime Rib. I was able to find something gluten-free at each one. I do suggest these restaurants. The best was Nordstrom Cafe. The best service and they really cared. I hope this helps someone else on their gluten-free journey in SF. Also the Mariposa Bakery was good for bread and rolls. Yumm. :)

gluten-free soups, Amy's burritos and fresh foods, breads and crackers. That is what comes to mind. See if the dorm cafeteria can work with you for preparing things for you, simple things. Maybe frozen meals, soups and fresh things. Good luck.
