#720751 Discovering New Gluten Free Foods

Posted by on 04 August 2011 - 09:03 AM

I just found gluten free dairy free cheese. YEAH! I was thinking i would never be able to have pizza or cheese on a sandwich again. Yeah Tofutti! I like the scavenger hunt mindset!

Daiya brand is the favorite type of Gluten-free Casein-free cheese for most everyone I know. It's soy free too, which Tofutti isn't. It's what places like Mellow Mushroom use commercially when they tout vegan cheese options.

Bananas Foster is super fast. We don't do the ice cream part and it's still so yummy. Earth Balance tastes great in it if you are DF.

They have a gluten-free menu. Can't remember if it's online for sure, but I think so. We are dairy free too and they allowed me to bring in substitute butter and cheese and I even got to have Alice Springs Chicken. Their honey mustard is gluten-free.

I think eating chicken wings and drumsticks is an awesome way to see what your date is made of! Should be good for a nice laugh.

#718658 Entocort Prescribed But I Am Unsure.....

Posted by on 25 July 2011 - 01:29 PM

Please remember that physicians give advice. Handing you a prescription is far from an order forcing you to take it. You have every right to decline to take the advice given. No one knows your body better than you.

I agree that I would be even more concerned that your doctor prescribed a drug not appropriate for your diagnosis, and one that has not worked well in the past. A medical license does not make someone a good listener or incapable of making a mistake. This might be a great indicator of the need to find another specialist. I would be quite hesitant to return for any complex issues with the apparent lack of understanding on a simpler one like weight loss.

Is your pesto recipe dairy free? If so, I'd love to have it.

IgG (Immunoglobulin G) and IgA (Immunoglobulin A) are types of antibodies searched for in tests for food sensitivities. Soe labs offer panels for each type. IgA are supposed to be the more accurate indicator, but some people have low total blood serum IgA which makes all of their IgA results false.

Have you already cut other things besides gluten? I would certainly investigate other foods before agreeing to surgery. I've read a number of times about celiacs having unnecessary surgeries and would be 100% positive it's not related before I moved forward.

#715002 Gluten Free And Dairy Free

It's easy and yummy. Just use Earth's Balance spread in place of the butter required and then buy or make chocolate frosting. You will have to read the frosting containers and look for fudge rather than milk chocolate. There were several options that were Gluten-free Casein-free.

Was just reading online that Enjoy Life brand does make allergen free chocolate bars and the Endangered Species line of chocolate bars is all gluten free.

Enjoy Life chocolate chips are allergen free at least (gluten, dairy, and soy). Not sure about the bars.

Sunspire products tend to be gluten free.

Our local AMC was fine on popcorn for both gluten and casein avoiders. I read the package on the butter flavor and there wasn't a drop of dairy in it.
