Sweet & Sour Suace

03 October 2012 - 12:29 PM

I know that sauces can be hit or miss on what all they have in them, so I thought I would pass along my modification to my grandmother's sweet and sour sauce recipe. It goes great on grilled chicken or pork ribs :-)

1/2 cup water
1/4 cup tamari
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp rice/tapioca flour

Combine the water and flour in a small saucepan (the water should be cold while you mix, this will prevent lumping).

Apply medium heat to the pan once the flour has mixed evenly with the water.

Add all remaining ingredients stirring frequently.

As the sauce heats it will thicken and become opaque.

Apply to whatever you want and enjoy!

The Military Healthcare System And Celiac Disease

27 September 2012 - 11:17 AM

Good afternoon,

The intent of this poll is to determine the satisfaction level of military members (active duty, guard, reserve, retirees) and their dependents with the military health care system. This is not an official poll by the Department of Defense but strictly my own curiosity. I personally would like to see a Naturopathic Doctor at every military clinic and hospital if only because my personal experience has been so positive. I just want to know if there is anybody else in the same boat and get a feel for how wide spread the issue may be in the DoD.

The Vitamin Bible

02 July 2012 - 07:30 AM

Hello all,

So here is what I want to run by the crowd: Has anybody had tried the "1st step for energy" B12 shot (think shooter not injection)? Just want to see if anybod has gotten sick before I try to convince my wife to try it to jump start her morning.
