It was the the North Little Rock Location and it was the entire staff. It took 3 people to even tell me they had a gluten free menu and two managers (or supervisor types) to say there was actually a gluten-free menu somewhere. The manager could never find their copy of the menu and had to print a copy off the computer and said then said they didn't have gluten-free bread 'so it didn't matter anyway'. I had zero confidence and left. That has not been my experience at other locations so that is the reason for my frustration...

That is crazy. That is the location I visit most often and I never have a problem. Maybe they have imporoved since your visit. I have only been gluten free for a few months. I would have left if I were you as well.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was just getting on here to find some places to eat when I visit Jackson for work later this month. Is there anywhere else you would recommend besides the chains like Outback, etc?

I have never had a problem with Chick-fil-a. They do a really good job. A manager at a local store told me they can do the grilled nuggets and chicken strips. I finally got brave enough to try the nuggets. I personally would just as well have a chicken breast I cut up myself, but I am sure kids would really like it. I want to try the strips next.

In Topic: Update: Sciatic Nerve Vs Planters Fasciitis

09 January 2012 - 06:16 AM

Thanks so much for posting this. I have been battling plantar fasciitis for 2.5 years. Although I have gotten some relief through the shoes, supports, etc, it has not gone away. I was thinking about the relationship when it has recently gotten worse. I have gotten gluten 3 times recently. Hopefully, this will get better as I continue to heal! I was worried I was not going to get any better than I am now, unless I had surgery. Which from what I have read on the results of surgery for PF, I really do not want to go down that road.
