Comprehensive Antibody Profile
20 December 2012 - 11:09 AM
Went to a new GI today, was not to impressed. They ordered a celiac disease comprehensive antibody profile to be done an schedualed me for a endoyscopy in a month. I tried to explane I had read on the university of Maryland celiac disease research center website that I needed to be eating gluten for some time before a blood test would be accurate. They no listen !!! Maby I'm missing something, would that blood test help? Or should I change docs?

Why can"t i eat anything but these foods?
baked chicken wings
baked potatoes, white an sweet
delmonte garden peas
baked fish
country crock original butter
enjoy life chocklate chips
bananas
cooked apples
creamed coconut
honey
anything else makes me just as sick as bread, today i tried hunts ketchup. 1 teaspoon with a plate of hashbrowns. 10 hours later i"m so sick again. I have stuck with my diet above an been doing good for the last couple weeks. I"ve been trying my best to be gluten free for the last 9 months, why do i get so sick from things that do not contain gluten? Is it leaky gut? Will it ever be over? I know i was in very bad shape, but its been 9 months. I"m so tired of this, sorry for the rant. I"LL keep my head up at least it will be over again in 4-6 days. Or at least most of it will.

Need Help, Should I Go To Doctor
23 August 2012 - 01:09 PM
self dianosed, been trying to be gluten free for 8 months now with many mistakes. I went to the doc to get antibotics for broncitus, he wants me to see a gi for weight lose an possible celiac. Like a lot of people on here i do not trust docs anymore!! I try an be gluten free, take my vitamins, take flaxseed an grapeseed oil daily. My question is should i go an what can a doc do to to help me? I feel like i"m in this all alone, i mean only i have control over being gluten free.
We buy wild bird food by the 50 lbs bag. I put it in a six pack cooler to fill the feeders. Watch out for wild bird seed dust some of it contains wheat!!!!!!!!!!
