Hi, my husband just confirmed last week that he has Celiac Disease...he also have Type 2 Diabetes, but Dr just started him on insulin a few months ago. He also thinks he is pretty much symptom free. Sadly, his mother has many symptoms and is going to get tested soon. We also have 3 young children who we will eventually get the bloodwork done on.
We know not a lot about this disease, and wanted to see where is the best place to buy breads? Do you make your own? Is lunch meat okay? He brings sandwiches to work everyday and is confused right now. He's also a big time snacker
Any tips/advice for newbies? I can see theres a lot of great information on this board - so we are going to start reading away.
