Celiac since early childhood. Diagnosed at about 30. Had severe Dermatitis Herpeteformis as a young child although misdiagnosed at that time as eczema. Have been gluten free since the early 80's. Have added other autoimmune problems; hayfever,alopecia; food allergies especially milk, eggs, dairy, yeast; inflammatory arthritis due to gut; "fibromyalgia" although I do not agree with this diagnosis; ataxia; neuropathy; atrial fibrillation. Physical Therapist; Medical Administrator; Scottish descent, have a first cousin who was diagnosed with celiac disease after me. One of my sons eats gluten free although he is negative for celiac disease.
