#874333 The Stuff Doctors Tell Their People...sad

Posted by surviormom on 13 June 2013 - 06:56 AM

So is that why the GI wants me on Prilosec and the GP wants me on Zantac, both want me on Gaviscon, and I just want Betaine and Slippery Elm.

When did it switch from healing people to money money money.  That is just wrong.

#872680 Newly Diagnosed- Dealing With Rude Comments

Check out this YouTube video by Better Batter that talks about "Stuff People Say to Celiacs".  It's pretty funny and I think we can all relate!

Have a great evening.

Loved it.

#871892 My Test Came Back

Posted by surviormom on 31 May 2013 - 01:44 PM

I think you are making a smart move.  My test today said no celiac sprue identified, that I am a NCGI ( actually I think the word used was Sensitivity but I think they are the same)  Explained to me that, if I continued to eat Gluten products I could end up being Celiac.  I have not been eating Gluten products for the past year, only occasional incidents.  Well.  I do not need a diagnosis.  I just will never the touch the stuff again, not intentionally anyhow.  Same plan for my kids,

So, good for you.
