First Follow Up Appointment

My daughter was diagnosed in January, and she has her first follow up appointment today.  Her bloodwork all looks really good.  I want to make sure I ask anything/everything I should... any suggestions?

 

Right now I have questions about some of the bloodwork, the vitamins I give her, and whether I should give her culturelle, if her weight is good...

 

anything I'm missing?


Question About Test Results

I have a doctor's interpretation of these results, but I'm curious about what others with experience would say about these:  

 

gliadin (deaminated) abs

     gliadin, iga        9            standard range <20

     gliadin, igg        48          standard range <20

 

IGA    157    standard range 78-391

 

Transglutiminase Ab, IgA      17   standard range <20

 

Endomysial Ab, IgA  <1:10       standard range DLT10

Follow Up Bloodwork

My daughter should go this month for her 3 month follow up bloodwork.  She was diagnosed at the end of January.  I've seen a marked improvement in her gastro symptoms, and she has even gained weight.  I am hoping to see a drastic improvement in her bloodwork as well, but I don't know how long that kind of thing takes.  I don't want to get disheartened if her numbers havent moved as much as I had hoped.  Any words of wisdom on this?  Can it take awhile for numbers to improve even if symptoms have improved?  Or should I expect to see normal numbers?  Thanks.

My three year old was diagnosed in january -- been gluten free for about six weeks, and found out yesterday she's gained over a pound!  I'm so happy that she showed some weight gain so quickly... just wanted to share.

This is Giant Eagle brand, and although it doesn't say "gluten free" i think the ingredients point that way... am i missing something?
