we ate a frozen turkey a few weeks ago. only salt and pepper on it. My husband started feeling weird right away. my daughter- age 10- had brain fog all night and could not add or subtract simple problems. then husband had full blown gluten symptoms. lasted for 3 days!! it was awful. I called the store and the plain frozen turkey had gluten in it.  so...gluten could have been in the actual turkey for you, not the stuffing!

Just wanted to mention that I got glutened by these cookies. as soon as I ate one my tongue and lips got numb, sharp headache, warm all over, floating feeling, gurgly stomach, and diarhea. yup..glutened. 

So I posted in the thread that's still here on page one (I think) about those Trader Joe's crispy chocolate chip cookies. They are fabulous! However...the first day I had them I ate four. {blush} The next morning I woke up with that gluten headache, and then later in the morning I had a few intestinal "issues". However, I had also had a glass of red wine the evening before and that sometimes gives me a headache. It is a different sort of headache, but still..

So then the next day I had two of the cookies. Yep, woke up with the headache again. (that was yesterday)

Okay, so yesterday I was home all day. I know everything that went in my mouth. None of it was processed, and it was all cooked by me or was stuff like my Udi's bread that I eat all the time (and that was an already-opened loaf that had been frozen and which I'd been eating off of for several days before I froze it). No wine. I ate two of the cookies last night. Terrible headache this morning.

So, those cookies are guilty, I'm sure. I'm planning to give TJ's a call just to let them know. I'm sure they'll say "we take blah blah precautions" etc.... but, I was definitely glutened by them.

My husband just ate 2 of those cookies and immediatlyhad a reaction! numb tongue, body warm, headache, floating feeling, gurgling stomach. definately glutened by these cookies.
