Has Any1 Ordered New Grist From Clubs Of America?

If so, did you have a good experience with them, how long did it take to ship etc. My local stores don't seem to stock it so the helpful staff at Lakefront Brewery are checking around to see if there is any New Grist anywhere in South Florida. They are truly professional and helpful there! In the meantime they suggested I mailorder some from Clubs of America but I'm not sure if it's worth it yet.

Bleu Cheese Unsafe

One week into my gluten-free diet, still a long way to go with regards to learning the ropes. Is it true that bleu cheese is not safe for a gluten free diet? Is it all bleu cheese or certain brands etc? I'm actually most concerned with the dressings/sauces that I'm obsessed with for buffalo wings etc. Thanks in advance!

Hi again guys

So I've been to my GP as well as a Gastro guy here in South Florida, and they've both advised me to go on a gluten-free diet for 3 months based on blood results alone. I asked about the biopsy and the gastro said that he would do it but suggested trying the diet first.

So for about a week I've been attempting to eat gluten free and I think Ive done a decent job but it seems so complicated and involved for a beginner. I haven't really had any improvement in symptoms but i didn't expect much after one week.

It's made harder by the fact that I'm on the move a lot and have to eat out more often than most. I've done my best to ask restaraunt staff the pertinent questions to make sure I eat gluten-free.

I've seen people talking about the Gluten Free Bible, what is that? Is there any other extensive literature I could get my hands on? Any advice and guidance is appreciated!

So, last time I posted on this board I was unsure of where to proceed with my suspicions. I've since seen my general practitioner who did blood work and said I came back for positive gliadin. She was quite non chalant about it and said that I have an intolerance to gluten and should just avoid "doughy foods." I couldn't believe how generic that response was but anyways... I asked her if I should see a GI and she said they'll just tell you the same thing.

Well one look around this board and I knew this was strange advice so I spoke to a family friend who is a doctor and she said emphatically that its important for me to see a GI because a blood test is not enough.

My questions:

1. Should I continue eating a gluten diet until I see the GI?
2. What is the difference between Celiac and gluten intolerance. Can gluten intolerant people handle small amounts or something?
