Topics I've Started

31 August 2004 - 10:41 PM

i had a gluten accident earlier this week. today i discover my scalp has severe dandruff and is practically falling off exposing blood. is this related? i'm kindof freaked out. i'm using the same shampoo i've always used (an organic kind i've read to be gluten free)

Mike And Ike Candy

17 June 2004 - 09:58 PM

Mike and Ikes are one of my favorite candies..and now the ingredients list "modified food starch" in them. I am heartbroken. unless the mysterious ingredient is gluten-free, Mike and Ikes aren't gluten-free anymore :(

Round Dry Patches

15 May 2004 - 07:47 PM

i know talking about skin stuff just gives everyone the heeby jeebies but! i could really use the help. i've been getting a few dime sized round patches of dry skin on my arms. they aren't going away, and look like my skin is melting off. definitely not normal? if anyone has a clue what this is it would be really appreciated..

Question About Whey

23 March 2004 - 10:23 PM

i believe that i am sensitive to foods with whey in them, however i just recently discovered that whey is a milk protien.(hey i'm new at this)

would this mean that i should avoid all dairy? i always recognized avoiding dairy as an intollerance to dairy products (which i already have) or as an allerty to caseins.

it would be very helpfull if someone could clear this up for me!

Gf Vegetarians

25 February 2004 - 10:39 AM

i am a vegetarian.. does anyone have any information on gluten-free meat alternatives? I know that there are certain veggie burgers that are gluten-free. (however i dont know which ones) Unfortunately, my understanding is that most alternatives are made using wheat. If anyone could help me out i was REALLY appreciate it.
