Baking is a passion of mine, therefore, I have tried many different gluten-free flours. However, all flour blends had disappointing results, in heavy textures and weird tasting cakes and pastries. Then I came across this blend and bought it. Hooray for "Authentic Foods Bette's Featherlite Gluten-Free Rice Flour Blend"! It truly is the best blend available anywhere. Everything I bake comes out light with all the wheat qualities. Expensive it is, but then again, I have thrown out so many baked goods because of poor taste, texture, and heaviness.

This is a MUST purchase item for anyone who loves to bake more delicate types of pastries. It has a wonderful texture and is especially great for cakes!

I bought her book and thought how different can it be from mixing your own, well, not much but enough to make a discernable difference and if you are a busy individual and hate the mixing part then this is the mix for you.

One of the best flour blend for cakes and pastrys.... well anything really. Its much lighter (almost like cake flour) than other flour blends but I recommend buying at least 2 bags if you bake or cook alot

I highly recommend this flour blend and have used it in place of all of my recipes that call for wheat flour. It has a fine texture (that feels almost like corn starch) and is easy to work with and tastes great!

If you do not have the time to create this mix yourself (the instructions are in Bette Hagman's cookbook), this is certainly the mix to have on hand. I used it (along with some xanthan gum) in my grandmother's pumpkin bread recipe with fantastic results. I was amazed at the light and fluffy texture, as many flour substitutes create brick-like breads.

Excellent substitute for all purpose flour. I use 1 cup + 1/2 teasp of xanthan in place of 1 cup of all-purpose flour in all my recipes. You can use it to make all cakes and cookies you used to enjoy, and it is nearly impossible to distinguish these baked goods as Gluten Free.

I LOVE this flour - nothing compares with what's in the stores. Making gravy, cookies, anything, cup for cup replacement!

I used this flour to make pancakes, waffles, cookies, cornbread, and cake. I just replaced it with my regular recipes. It was great. I even had people taste the food and they could not tell the difference.
