This stuff is great. I don't always add cheese and it turns out fine. This is the only dough that isn't premade that I am able to use for calzones or pigs in a blanket. There's various suggestions on the back of the package that show you other recipes you can use this product for as well.

This mix is GREAT! I have been trying to find a gluten-free bread mix that actually tasted like something. This mix tastes great, probably because it is made from an authentic South American BREAD recipe. Easy to mix and prepare. As it bakes, it looks like real bread, smells like real bread, and TASTES like real bread! I have used this mix, without adding cheese, to make dinner rolls (excellent), and their pizza mix which actually does not break apart in your mouth, supports the toppings, and did I mention, TASTES GREAT! We have great plans for pizza, rolls, bread, buns, etc.

These were very simple to make and the flavor was good. Definitely use a HARD cheese as they instruct (I only had monterrey jack on hand & it was too gooey). The texture was a little rubbery, but I froze the rest of the rolls I made and when I defrost and then toast them in a toaster oven, I find the texture is better than just out of the oven. Would buy again and probably try this as pizza crust as others have mentioned.

Whoa, my goodness. I made this cheesy bread with mozzarella, and my entire house was filled with the most wonderful aromas. Yum. yum. yum. A friend who had studied abroad in Brazil said this was delicious and reminiscent of the real thing! So easy to make. Delicious with mozzarella and marinara sauce.

These rolls are awesome, and make great breadsticks too!!! I mix everything, and then split the mix making 1/2 rolls, and 1/2 breadsticks. After you have shaped the rolls, or breadsticks you can also freeze them. Then you can pull them out, and bake them fast when in a hurry!!! The very best on earth, and gluten-free too!!!

Tasted like they were made from scratch. Normally I don't go for cheesy bread, but I got this mix as a gift. They were soft and didn't have too strong of cheese taste. They even froze well...just make sure to eat them warm.

I made breadsticks and the crust is harder than I prefer, but it was better after re-heating them in the microwave with a cup of water - I added parmesan cheese and some Italian herbs to one batch of dough before baking - These were really good dipped in marinara sauce.

I love this mix! I use it mostly to make gluten-free pizza crust. Mix it up (don't usually put in the cheese because of extra calories) and then divide it into 3-4 balls. I freeze them and then whenever I want pizza, I thaw out one, roll it flat and bake it for about 6 minutes (425-450). Add toppings and bake another 6-8 minutes. Yum.

My little guy and I were craving pizza something fierce the other night, so we followed the directions on the pack for pizza crust. Even the gluten-eating daddy loved it (actually he ate half of the pizza himself!). Next time I'll probably use less cheese in the crust for the pizza because it was a little too cheesey for the little one ... but it's definitely something we'll keep on hand!

I made these little cheese rolls to take on a trip. They are great for dipping in olive oil when everyone else has regular bread. I don't miss the wheat and gluten at all. I tossed the extras in a baggie and put them in the frig, then just reheat in the microwave. Stock up!

I tried this and loved it . But i am a chef and I tweaked this and WOW. with a few additions this is the BEST bread i have had since going GF over 8 years ago. It is moist and soft and full of flavor. FANTASTIC product. Here is the recipe.

1 pkg Chebee cheese bread
1 pkg GF yeast
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
4 tablespoons dry buttermilk
2 tbsps. corn oil

Enough club soda to make this a moist dough
Mix throughly and knead for a minute or so. Divide into 8 peices place on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise for 1 hour. then bake at 375 till golden brown
(about 30 minutes)

This bread is delicious, use a good sharp cheddar cheese or parmesan for great flavor. My whole family enjoy these rolls fresh from the oven. They are easy to make and if there are leftovers pop them in the oven for a few minutes to freshen them up and they taste like freshly baked again.

I was disappointed to see that the mix had milk in it and that you were supposed to add cheese, but I went ahead and made it without adding cheese, and I loved it. This bread is going to be a permanent part of our family. (I researched the web and found that these rolls are a type of Brazilian bread. They remind me of popovers. I can see how this bread would be VERY versatile.)

It may seem strange to some people but, I wanted to cry when my children raved about these rolls. just the ease of making them and the texture and taste we all cheered about ,after so many total disasters in baking and purchasing finally something we could count on. Can't wait to try the entire line. It gives me peace of mind to know I can count on baking results. The only bad part we experienced was if there is any left after the second day they are not as good.
So eat them right up and bake as needed. I baked them up before a family picnic and the kids had them for burgers and subs just like everyone else.

I made these for my son who has celiac and he loves them, they tasted so good warm from the oven my other two kids wanted them too and love them. It's not like other bread though, as it has a more unsual flavour and more chewy consistancy sounds strange but they are actually really tasty and good, easy to make.

Easy to make and tastes good. I found that the amount you get per package is not enough for a large family, so I would buy at least 2 packages. The texture can be a bit chewy, so be careful to not overbake. This satisfies the craving for bread very well. You may find the taste a little underwhelming, so try adding some herbs and spices, and a strong cheese helps too.

My Dad has had to eat gluten-free for about 15yrs now, and I have tried a lot of the breads made from the other flours, & being a bread lover, I really have a hard time with a lot of them. When my Mom makes these Chebes, "WOW!!" I can't leave the dish with any left! We all fight over the last one! This really is a FABULOUS mix!! I'm starting to buy it myself, now that I'm online now, so I don't have to wait til I visit my parents house.

Easy to make. Seems dry at first but simple one hand kneading turns it into a nice dough. I love it flattened as a pizza crust. It holds up well once baked and stays fairly crisp after re-baking with all the toppings. A real winner for me.

This mix is easy and tasty. Very, very happy to have found. It works well with a creative touch too, I have added ricotta cheese and flax seeds to the mix to add fiber and protien, it went well but my small children prefer it just the way it is intended or with parmasean cheese.
