I really love this cookbook! I have two "regulars" that I make out of here all the time. I have made one of the bread recipes "my" bread recipe and make 2 loaves, slice and freeze. Whenever I need to make my son a sandwich, I simply defrost :) the texture is unbelievable. I also make the holiday roll out cookies! I made them with my son, nieces/nephews this past Christmas and the kids got to decorate them! They turned out great! I also made them into hearts for Valentines Day and eggs for Easter. There are tons of recipes in here I still want to try. The foods have excellent texture and the recipes are extremely easy. I do wish she would have ventured out and used different flours other than rice, sweet rice and a starch. But, I have lots of other cookbooks for those purposes. Both recipes I have made out of here turned out great. I guess the proof is in the pudding because I make both frequently. I LOVE to have "normal" bread and "normal" cut out cookies. These are two huge staples for us. There is a whole holiday section in this cookbook which I love including gingerbead cookies, sugar cookies, etc. You will not find alternative sweeteners or flours in this book. The meat and potatoes of this book is rice flours and sugars. But I promise you, you will not be dissapointed. The layout in this book is very simple, very unique and very very easy to read. You will not be dissapointed!
