Brown rice is the least processed form of rice. It has the bran layer, which gives this pasta a slightly chewier tex-ture, that tan color and the nut-like flavor. Brown rice grains are higher in fiber and nutritional content - oils, Vitamin Bs and important minerals than white rice.

Shelf life: approx 3 years.

Ingredients: Brown rice, rice bran, water.

Made in a dedicated gluten & wheat free environment.

DIRECTIONS:
In a large pot, bring 5 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt if desired. Add pasta to boiling water and cook, uncovered, 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Rinse and drain well. Use as you would ordinary spaghetti.

When a child is gluten-free and egg-free, he feels left out when others are eating things like spaghetti and he can't have any. Well, with this product, he is able to enjoy the things that he see others eating, and it is healthier as well. He eats with a smile on his face that is just wonderful to see, just like the other kids.

What I love about this product is that it is brown rice based versus corn and white rice, which can be an issue for some of the gluten-eaters that avoid those products. This allows me to make a single dish for everyone to enjoy (and they do enjoy it!)

The spaghetti is as great. I have really discovered a great product line. Those in my family that are not on a gluten free diet found it nicer than wheat based pasta.
