I recently purchased this book and it's a must have! I can prepare my shopping list prior to going to the store. I have saved an hour shopping. My husband and I have been doing our best to be gluten-free since Thanksgiving 2012. We have a lot to learn, but feel it is well worth the time, frustration and new way of eating. We are 60 years old and it's not easy breaking habits we've had for most of our lives.

Words cannot say how much I LOVE THIS BOOK. I am new to having Celiac disease and trying to decipher what I can and cannot have was making me cry. This book is a small blessing at a time when I thought I would literally have to live off of yogurt. My only grocery store is 27 miles away and it's a small mom and pop shop. Aside from that, it's 140 miles til I hit a Walmart and Smith's. This book is small enough to carry in my purse, and accurate enough from what I can tell so far. Now I just need to buy a copy for my Mum to carry and convince her to move closer to town...

This book is a must have! My son was just diagnosed with celiac disease. I have been eating gluten-free (or so I thought) for about 2 years already. I was missing a lot of hidden gluten in the foods I was eating. I recommend this book for anyone with auto immune disease in their family. Purchase one for home and one for your car, you do not want to be without it!

I LOVE this book! The book has symbols for if the product is made in a dedicated gluten-free facility verified tested, or certified gluten-free. It also lets you know if that product is made in a facility containing gluten or shared equipment as gluten even if the CSA or GIG has approved it. This will allow you to make your own decision according to how sensitive or allergic you are to gluten. The book is set up in a way that is user friendly.

Definitely a must to have when grocery shopping. I was so overwhelmed when my son was first diagnosed with celiac disease. I ordered this book as soon as I saw it. It is also great to keep at the babysitters or a grandparents house, if they stay with them a lot. If ever they had a question about something, they could refer to the book. Quick and easy!

This is by far the best book for grocery shopping if you have Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance. It's like my shopping bible.... I couldn't shop with confidence without it! I've been getting each new version since I was diagnosed in 2007, and with each passing year, this book gets better and better! I really wish they would make an iBook version of it so that I'd always have it on my iPhone (there's an idea), or make it into an app, which I could likewise have on my iPhone. This book has saved me countless time (and my husband, when he remembers to take it) for picking up the wrong product, thinking it was gluten-free. It is especially helpful to my husband, who is someone that generally only checks the 'Common Allergens' box on the products he buys. That's how I ended up getting a large exposure to barley (it's not listed as a common allergen)..... I was sick for months. I don't go into ANY grocery store without this book; thank you for such a wonderful product!

The book is well written with information that can definitely cut down on shopping time. But you still have to remain vigilant in knowing that vendors can change the products and that any item can and will change HOW their product is made. This makes it so much easier for anyone that is just starting out as Gluten-Free but always get used to studying the ingredient list. I do wish however that the Non-food list was more in-depth. But this does give you a good starting place even with those products. I would certainly recommend this book to family members an will update my book as necessary.

The Gluten-Free Shopping Guide has been a great help in finding foods that I can eat. The ingredient list on most labels do not say gluten free. You cannot tell by just reading the ingredients if it contains gluten are not. That is why this book is such a great help. It list the products that are gluten free by name. I have enjoyed eating foods that I have not eaten in years because now I know that I can have them. The book is a must have for people who have celiac disease.

I have been dealing with Celiac Sprue since 1982. If I would have had this book years back it would have made a huge difference. Recently I wasÂ having problems because some of the items I was consuming were not gluten free-I ended up with a medical set back. After going on-line and doing some serious searching I came across this book. I take it with me when I go grocery shopping and/or anywhere else. It paid for itself in a couple weeks... as there are numerous food products that are inexpensive which you can buy. This book tells you what is gluten free and is laid out very well. I have a friend who also has the disease where her cosmetics, tooothpaste, lotions... all external products need to be gluten free... this book lets you know. I recommend this book to anyone having to deal with celiac sprue/gluten free diet... you will be glad you purchased it.
