GLUTEN-FREE GROCERY SHOPPING GUIDE: Frustrated in trying to find Gluten-Free Products in your grocery stores? Tired of calling food manufacturers and guessing on nutrition labels? Well, help is here! Introducing Cecelia's Marketplace Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping Guide! This easy to use 4.5" x 6.5" book is a list of over 45,000 gluten-free alphabetized products available nationwide. Popular brands like Heinz, Kraft, Del Monte, Frito Lay, as well as supermarket chains, such as Kroger, Wal-Mart, Publix, Safeway, Walgreens, and more. Just pick a product, look it up, and all the gluten-free brands are at your fingertips.

Unlike CD-ROMs or gluten free computer software, this book is easy to carry to the grocery store for easy product confirmation anytime, anywhere. The book easily fits in one's purse. Either take this book with you or make your grocery list before you leave the house. This guide is not only designed for people with celiac disease, gluten intolerance and gluten sensitivity, but excellent for family members, friends, chefs, dietitians, or others that need to prepare gluten-free meals or learn about gluten-free products. In addition, Cecelia's Marketplace Gluten Free Grocery Shopping Guide includes ''Gluten-Free Kitchen Tips'' which gives family members, friends or chefs specific tips on how to avoid gluten contamination in the kitchen. As an added bonus we have also included 2,000+ ''over-the-counter'' pharmacy products which include antacids, pain relief, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, supplements, vitamins & minerals, and more.

Celiac Disease is now becoming one of the most prevalent diseases in the world. Studies now show that approximately 1 in every 133 Americans suffers from this condition. Other conditions once diagnosed as irritable bowel syndrome, and chronic diarrhea, are now being re-diagnosed as being the result of gluten ingestion. Gluten is the protein most commonly found in wheat, rye, and barley. Sticking to a strict gluten-free diet is the only treatment! This book is a must have in making gluten-free living easier!

I was diagnosed with celiac disease 4 months ago at age 60. I purchased this guide to assist me in making the proper food selections when I go grocery shopping. I carry it in my purse at all times. It fits nicely in my pocketbook and it is not too heavy. The food selections are categorized alphabetically which makes it very easy to find what you are looking for when you go shopping. The guide provides you with vendors who manufacture gluten free products and lets you know which products may be manufactured in facilities that may cross contaminate with wheat in the manufacturing process. I have found it extremely helpful. I have also recommended the guide to friends who appear to have a gluten sensitivity.

I liked this book so much I bought three. One for my daughter-in-law who is newly diagnosed with celiac disease and one for my husband's son who has a gluten intolerance. In the end, we got one for ourselves. It's everything the other reviews stated and more. I love the size, the ease of use and so very much information in such a easy to use format. Everyone should have a copy...

I really enjoyed reading the book and taking it to the store with me to help me find the things that we needed to find that were gluten-free. It is worth every penny I paid for it.

I recently purchased this book and it's a must have! I can prepare my shopping list prior to going to the store. I have saved an hour shopping. My husband and I have been doing our best to be gluten-free since Thanksgiving 2012. We have a lot to learn, but feel it is well worth the time, frustration and new way of eating. We are 60 years old and it's not easy breaking habits we've had for most of our lives.

Words cannot say how much I LOVE THIS BOOK. I am new to having Celiac disease and trying to decipher what I can and cannot have was making me cry. This book is a small blessing at a time when I thought I would literally have to live off of yogurt. My only grocery store is 27 miles away and it's a small mom and pop shop. Aside from that, it's 140 miles til I hit a Walmart and Smith's. This book is small enough to carry in my purse, and accurate enough from what I can tell so far. Now I just need to buy a copy for my Mum to carry and convince her to move closer to town...

This book is a must have! My son was just diagnosed with celiac disease. I have been eating gluten-free (or so I thought) for about 2 years already. I was missing a lot of hidden gluten in the foods I was eating. I recommend this book for anyone with auto immune disease in their family. Purchase one for home and one for your car, you do not want to be without it!

I LOVE this book! The book has symbols for if the product is made in a dedicated gluten-free facility verified tested, or certified gluten-free. It also lets you know if that product is made in a facility containing gluten or shared equipment as gluten even if the CSA or GIG has approved it. This will allow you to make your own decision according to how sensitive or allergic you are to gluten. The book is set up in a way that is user friendly.

Definitely a must to have when grocery shopping. I was so overwhelmed when my son was first diagnosed with celiac disease. I ordered this book as soon as I saw it. It is also great to keep at the babysitters or a grandparents house, if they stay with them a lot. If ever they had a question about something, they could refer to the book. Quick and easy!

This is my go to book. Whether you are new or well established at being gluten free, I have found this book invaluable when shopping. I also use it when planning out my pantry of daily ingredients we use all the time. This book has made a huge difference with my family as we learn together to be healthy while making sure to keep me gluten free!

This is by far the best book for grocery shopping if you have Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance. It's like my shopping bible.... I couldn't shop with confidence without it! I've been getting each new version since I was diagnosed in 2007, and with each passing year, this book gets better and better! I really wish they would make an iBook version of it so that I'd always have it on my iPhone (there's an idea), or make it into an app, which I could likewise have on my iPhone. This book has saved me countless time (and my husband, when he remembers to take it) for picking up the wrong product, thinking it was gluten-free. It is especially helpful to my husband, who is someone that generally only checks the 'Common Allergens' box on the products he buys. That's how I ended up getting a large exposure to barley (it's not listed as a common allergen)..... I was sick for months. I don't go into ANY grocery store without this book; thank you for such a wonderful product!

Too bad I did not buy the GF shopping guide years ago. I have already enjoyed several new foods that I either did not think were GF or simply did not have the time to research. Handy and easy to use. Thank you!

The book is well written with information that can definitely cut down on shopping time. But you still have to remain vigilant in knowing that vendors can change the products and that any item can and will change HOW their product is made. This makes it so much easier for anyone that is just starting out as Gluten-Free but always get used to studying the ingredient list. I do wish however that the Non-food list was more in-depth. But this does give you a good starting place even with those products. I would certainly recommend this book to family members an will update my book as necessary.

The Gluten-Free Shopping Guide has been a great help in finding foods that I can eat. The ingredient list on most labels do not say gluten free. You cannot tell by just reading the ingredients if it contains gluten are not. That is why this book is such a great help. It list the products that are gluten free by name. I have enjoyed eating foods that I have not eaten in years because now I know that I can have them. The book is a must have for people who have celiac disease.

This book has made my life so much easier! It has saved me so much time since I no longer need to call so many companies myself. We are also saving money because the book lists so many store brand products! I also bought copies for my mom and sister and they consult it when planning for holidays and potlucks so that I can enjoy the dishes, too!

I was so happy to get my new book. When it came I sat down trying to take it all in. It is a very nice book, the only thing wrong with it is that most all of the stores are not in my area Winston-Salem, NC.

I have been looking for a book that has listings of Gluten-Free foods. It will be nice to have a reference on food brands. Calling the manufactures takes so much time. It is exciting to be able to look things up in the book and not wait for responses from a telephone call.

I have been using this book for the past year. It goes with me everywhere. I never have to wonder if something is gluten-free. I just refer to the Gluten-Free shopping guide. With all of the publicity about Celiac disease and eating gluten free, new gluten free foods are showing up on supermarket shelves. I can't wait for the 2011 edition.

I just found out about 3 months ago that I have Celiac Disease and I found this book on line.  I was so upset when I first found out that I had this disease because I love food. I'm not a dessert person or a smoker so food is a big problem for me. But when I found this book I found out that there are more items out there that I can eat. WOW what a life saver for me. I recommend this book to anyone that has Celiac. -B

I have been dealing with Celiac Sprue since 1982. If I would have had this book years back it would have made a huge difference. Recently I was  having problems because some of the items I was consuming were not gluten free-I ended up with a medical set back. After going on-line and doing some serious searching I came across this book. I take it with me when I go grocery shopping and/or anywhere else. It paid for itself in a couple weeks... as there are numerous food products that are inexpensive which you can buy. This book tells you what is gluten free and is laid out very well. I have a friend who also has the disease where her cosmetics, tooothpaste, lotions... all external products need to be gluten free... this book lets you know. I recommend this book to anyone having to deal with celiac sprue/gluten free diet... you will be glad you purchased it.

I LOVE this book! It is amazing. I don't have to spend a long time in the grocery store checking every type of a certain food to see which is ok. I can now check this small book and then double check the ingredients myself. Fits great in my purse too! I also didn't realize how much I could get from the grocery store and how much I could eat until now.
