Jennies founder, Arnold Badner, is fondly known as the “Macaroon King.” He has been producing the #1 selling macaroon since 1973 but the company has been in his family since the 1950s, when his father had an office in the original Jennies factory. Arnold named the scrumptious macaroon after his youngest daughter and the company has stayed family-focused. As a pioneer in the new and exciting health food industry, Arnold took his delicious, traditionally kosher for Passover coconut treat and brought it to health-conscious consumers nationwide. He began creating macaroons for the General Nutrition Corporation (GNC). While branding and marketing the Jennies Macaroons, Arnold traveled throughout the US educating colleagues about the benefits of coconut. |
