I have become the family pie and cheesecake baker because these shortbread cookies make a wonderful crust. No one knows that it is gluten-free, and I get compliments all the time. I have to be sure that I save some for just eating.

The texture was pretty close to shortbread but they weren't very sweet. They might work well as a crust for a chocolate pie though.

These cookies are delicious! I have missed having shortbread on occasion. No more! I like the taste and texture. I enjoy them with my cup of tea in the afternoon. Caution to those cookie dunkers....Dunk with caution, and very briefly or cookie will fall apart in your tea or milk pretty quickly!

If you worry about making pie crust or the bottom for a cheese cake, worry no more. These cookies are the best for that pie or cake you are wanting to make. I have tried gluten-free pie crust recipes, but they really don't come out that well. Now that I have these cookies, 'no problem!' Well worth the price for a great pie or cake bottom.

I haven't enjoyed a cookie since I found I had Celiac in 1977. I have tried baking my own and I do bake the best cookies for everyone else but I craved one for myself. Nothing worked out that I could say I enjoyed them. The Shortbread Cookies satisfy my cravings and I love them for a snack before bed. I have back ups in my closet and will order along with my other products from The Gluten Free Mall.

I usually love the Schar products, but I found these cookies 'chalky' and they did not satisfy my urge for something sweet at all.
I was kind of disappointed, I bought these based on the other ratings, but I guess all taste buds aren't the same...

These cookies are EXCELLENT!! They taste just like I remember the Girl Scout Shortbread cookies tasted like. They make excellent snacks and can also be used to chop up fine for a 'graham cracker' crust for a pie.

I love these cookies they are certainly lighter than traditional shortbread, but since I have gained 25 pounds since going gluten free (who expected THAT?!), that is ok. They satisfy the dessert craving, and I enjoy them with fresh fruit, and will admit to eating them with chocolate once as well. Best yet, for you Weight Watchers like me, they are only 1 point each.

I have been searching for years for a gluten free shortbread cookie that compares to my grandma's. These are pretty close but I would have loved for them to have more of a buttery flavor. The need a bit more umpf.

Good cookies. Have a light crumbly texture, which is very pleasing. These cookies go wonderfully with tea and are great dipped in chocolate. Overall, a good light cookie. Note: don't purchase if you are expecting a dense buttery cookie like traditional wheat shortbread.

These are not like a buttery shortbread at all. However, they are crunchy, a nice little size, and taste pleasantly of sweet corn. They really are most like a cornbread cookie! I feel virtuous offering this cookie to children because I know the child will like it, it fits their small hand, and they don't have to worry about an allergic reaction.

I love most Schar products, but I wasn't crazy about these. The flavor was good, but they weren't buttery tasting. There was a bit of a grit to them. They're also crispy.

These cookies are a delicious gluten free version of shortbread. I serve them to guests with tea and they do not know they are gluten free. They give me an opportunity to have a "normal" tea and cookies experience with my friends and guests.

Absolutely delicious!! Shortbread is really one of the things I miss most since going gluten-free, and these are as good as, if not better, than the "real" thing. Just sweet enough, creamy, with out a too-crumbly texture, they are perfect w/coffee or tea. Definitely will be a staple in my house from now on!

When I was a little, gluten-eating girl, my favorite cookies were shortbread cookies, especially the kind with the little horsemen on them. Honestly, these taste just as delicious as those. They're light, crunchy, and buttery. I find they stay quite fresh for a while also. They're delicious cookies and they won't make you feel as though you're sacrificing anything.

The perfect Gluten Free cookie. This is a shortbread type cookie with lots of great flavor. Not too sweet, just right. I have to set a limit for myself or I will eat the entire package in one day. I usually go for chocolate, except when these cookies are around.

I love these cookies! They are the perfect snack. They aren't too sweet and are the perfect treat for someone who cant have dairy. I made all my gluten loving friends try them and they couldn't believe how great they tasted.
