Just tried this tonight and I have to say this is excellent penne pasta. You really can't tell the difference between this and regular pasta. Great texture and cooks up nice. Will purchase this one again.

I really like this pasta! I couldn't even taste the difference between this pasta and gluten filled pasta. I just started this gluten-free diet, and I'm glad I found some pasta that I like, I'll get it again and again!

This is the BEST gluten-free pasta brand! This pasta taste just like regular pasta. There is no other gluten-free brand that compares. The penne is also my favorite because it can go with any dish.

This is really really good. My husband who is my "taste tester" a non-celiac loves this pasta. He can not tell the difference which is amazing because he can taste a lot of the "gluten-free" taste as he calls it. I really love this pasta. It makes a great meal for the two of us.

BEST gluten free pasta ever!!!!! I've been using this product for more than two years now. The only drawback is that it will begin to break apart after it has been in a sauce for awhile. Other than that, it's perfect!

Terrific taste and texture, gluten-free or otherwise! The closest thing I have found to "real" pasta. Does NOT turn mushy like many others I have tried.

This pasta cooks up well--can be cooked al dente. The flavor is mild and very like wheat pasta. The color is also very good.

My son is 8 and just started this diet. His all time favorite food is pasta, so we really need this to go over well. I could not be happer for he didn't notice a differnece. We will be buying this again and again.

Without a doubt this is the best pasta I have tried. It does not cook up into mush or fallapart. My husband said he can't tell any difference than the wheat type.

This is the best Gluten Free pasta i have tried in 8 years of living Gluten Free, WOW. You cannot tell the difference between Schar penne pasta and regular wheat pasta. An amazing product. It even stores well without getting all hard and nasty. I made penne and red sauce and stored it in the fridge for 3 days and it was just as good on the last serving as it was on the first. i also made pasta salad with it and again it made perfect pasta. No strange flavors or textres and it stayed good till the last of it was eaten. I love this product.

This is the BEST pasta! My son was recently diagnosed with Celiac and he loves pasta. But only with butter or he ate Kraft mac & cheese. So this new diet would be a challenge for us both. We tried a different brand of rice pasta mac & cheese and he ate some not knowing what he had eaten. He seemed to tolerate it but I thought plain pasta with butter would never meet his (or my) expectations. After much research and reviews on products I hesitantly decided to try Dr. Schar even though the price was so high. I was shocked it tasted just like real pasta! Maybe better! I honestly don't think I would be able to tell the difference. My very picky son LOVED it. Didn't need any cheese sauce to cover the taste or color, that newly diagnosed Celiac kids are not used to. This product is worth the money if you have a picky pasta eater.

This penne is the closest to the real thing we've found. My 7 year-old was diagnosed this summer and was already a picky-eater, so finding gluten-free foods he would eat has been sooo hard. I've tried perhaps a dozen different brands of pastas. The problem is, he doesn't like sauces, so I can't disguise the taste and texture of pasta with sauce, only butter and salt! So, if this pasta can pass the test without any disguises, it is definitely good. Even the rest of the family will can eat this without complaining.

The best gluten-free pasta I've tried yet, of about six. Good flavor, good texture. Prone to clumping, though. Be sure to stir as you add it to the boiling water.

Very good penne pasta. We grill out with our neighbors weekly and I have been making a small batch of penne with white sauce for me. My neighbor (who's not celiacs) keeps eating it all!!! It's that good!

The one thing I was worried about when I started the gluten-free diet is, "How will I live without pasta?". This is the pasta that will help you forget about that other brand! It's great! But remember to follow the cooking directions.

This is the best Penne we have had to date. The non-celiacs in our family cannot tell the difference between this and "regular" pasta. It has a great taste and texture. It holds up well for casseroles, pasta salad or any recipe you would normally use pasta in.

My daughter, which is 15 years old, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She loves pasta, when she ate this one she said it tasted like regular pasta. My whole family ate it and loved it.

The is the BEST gluten free pasta we have tried. It is nothing like the other pasty, stickey pastas. Prior to trying Dr. Schar pasta I had another favorite brown rice pasta, this has better taste and texture.

My daughter liked these with prego sauce and lots of cheese. We will buy again. We like the corn maize based stuff the best but this is not to bad with sauce and cheese.

This pasta is the best. My son only eats a few gluten free products that are not naturally gluten free. I usually end up eating it because it has no aftertaste and tastes like the real thing! It has an excellent consistency unlike other pastas we have tried that are soggy. Remember to only boil for 5-6 minites.
