Udi's is very good, as is Rudi's - they not only taste similar, they sound similar. Not having to toast it is wonderful, but the holes in it seem unnecessary. Sometimes I get a loaf with a hole so gigantic that I definitely did not get my money's worth and feel justified in toasting at least 3 pieces.

This is the best bread. I Buy 10 at the time and freeze - take 1 out as I need it. If it gets a little hard, I just pop it in the microwave for a second or 2 to get it soft. Great for sandwich, toast, grilled cheese, even by itself. Thanks, Udi, for a great product!

Excellent bread. It is like the type of bread you get at high quality restaurants. Very tasty. I just wish they would include an even (14) number of slices, since I am usually left with one slice and no companion slice for it.

Udi's does such a great job with this bread!! I'm so happy it exists!! Most breads are soooo dry you feel like you will choke on them! But all of the UDI's breads are so so good, you feel like you are eating regular bread! And that means a lot to gluten free people!!
My favorite is the white bread, but all are equally excellent!!

The Udi's bread is I think better than regular bread ever tasted. The only thing I noticed was you have to keep the bag tightly closed so no air enters, other wise the bread molds fast with in a day it will mold if this happens.

I have tried many different brands of bread over the past 6 years and besides one that I cannot get here in America this exceeds everyone that I have tried in both taste and texture. After trying this brand and sticking with it for nearly a year I tried another and had to go back. I love this bread!

Udi bread is the best. Like most gluten free bread it is smaller than regular bread but I can still make a decent sandwich with these. Great shelf life and does not need to be kept frozen. This bread is great toasted and makes for great sandwiches.

The BEST bread on the market, frozen. I buy in big batches and freeze. I make sandwiches for my daughter's lunch every day. This bread doesn't get super hard. You can eat it cold without problems.

This brand is my absolute favorite I have found so far!.
It's not crumbly or dry, like the other brands I have tried.
This is actully pleasurable for me to eat. I'm a college student and all ways on the go, and I actully enjoy taking sandwhichs with me everyday again, since I have been diagnosed!
I usually toast it for all of my sandwhiches to make the texture even more like normal bread, and it honestly does almost pass as regular white bread. XD

I buy this bread all the time. I have celiac disease and I found this bread they serve it at a local deli in Tennessee. I buy it from here and when it ships to me when I open the box it smells like it just came out of the oven. I buy 6 loaves at a time leave one out and freeze the rest it lasats 6 months in freezer and 21 days in fridge

Udi's Gluten-Free White Sandwich Bread is wonderful. It is the only gluten-free bread that I have had that is delicious without toasting. Pull it out of the freezer, and by the time you finish piling all your sandwich ingredients onto it, it is thawed and perfect. It's only downside is the price.

Best gluten-free sandwhich bread I have had so far! Very versatile for cold and hot sandwhiches. You don't even have to keep this bread frozen and then microwave it, you can just leave it out at room temp and it is good textured.

This is my favorite sandwich bread. The texture is light and fluffy once defrosted, and you don't need to toast the bread to keep the texture. The taste is fantastic. And the calories are comparable to wheat breads. A small recommendation, if you don't plan on using the entire loaf in a week, defrost the slices as you need them. If left on the counter much longer than a week, the bread usually molds.

This bread is simply amazing. The closest regular bread I can equate it to is an english muffin style toasting bread. Incidentally, that was one of my favorites before being diagnosed. I have tried 8-10 pre-made commercial breads, 5-6 commercial bread mixes, experimented with ~10 more recipes, and none of it came close to this. I grew up loving bread and pasta...it has been brutal not begin able to eat any of it for the last 2 years. I had found satisfying substitutes for most everything, except bread. Now that has finally been checked off the list. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Just like the "wheat" version of Udis bread, this gluten-free white bread is amazing. Mostly I eat the brown bread version, but when I want a PB&J, I use Udi's white bread. It's EXACTLY like real bread, so much so that my sister, who can eat gluten, will gladly eat this bread. I cannot say enough good things about Udis.

The Udi's breads either the white or whole grain are better than anything else I have tried. However they need to work on their quality as something that happens in the baking process that causes the bread to have large holes in the slices most of the time making it difficult to butter after toasting. I eat four loaves a week in spite of the problem but if they don't fix the problem I will start looking for another brand.

My son has been a diabetic/celiac patient for quite some time now. He is a 16 year old, who didn't eat sandwiches since he was diagnosed. I bought this bread, we have tried many, and I couldn't believe it. He loved it, I am so glad I have found a bread that he doesn't need to toast. That is the best part for him.

This bread feels and tastes most like the bread we know and miss. The white sandwich bread makes great toast and I like it toasted for sandwiches as well I even ate the crust when the meat and cheese had already been eaten because they slide around when eating. my point is that with other gluten free breads that is when I would notice the texture difference and I can't lie the taste of some of the other breads are not so great.
I give the Udi's brand a 10 Love it

BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST Bread ever!!!!!!! period. End of story. I cried when I felt and smelled the bread. When I ate it, I ate three slices... not toasted, nothing added... just the bread. Do yourself a huge favor and buy it... you will never go back to the others. This is REAL bread, not cardboard, not nasty gacky stuff that we have to toast and try to make ok. You can serve it and not say a word and no one notices anything except that it is a chewy french water type bread. Totally awesome. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I say that with 110% confidence, you have to try this bread, it reminds me of the Italian bread that I so loved prior to being diagnosed with celiac...but this bread is softer. That's right-I said softer, as in moist, with flavor and the best part...no need to toast it unless you want to! I take it from the freezer and thaw it at room temperature or microwave it for a few seconds, butter it and YUMMMMMMM!!!

This is bread. REAL bread. I *still* check the label because I cannot believe it doesn't have gluten. My kids love it. I love it. Everyone I've ever given some to loves it. No toasting required (but, oh!, toasted with butter and jam is heaven!). It wraps around a hot dog. The ends soak up soup and still go "crunch". This product isn't just "good". It is AMAZING. My only problem? It is small, so the slices get kinda lost in my toaster.

I and 2 of my 5 children are celiacs, and the challenge of finding edible foods has been on going for 19 yrs. When my daughter found this UDI'S bread, she purchased a loaf for me to try. She couldn't speak highly enough about the taste & texture etc. I had heard it all before. Well when I felt it, it was SOFT, when I smelled it, it smelled GOOD. "Are you sure this is gluten-free"? as I have tried them all and I had come to the realization that all gluten-free bread is nasty, I had given up as I would rather go without. Well, I sat and ate 5 slices of bread, right out of the package, no butter, no jelly, no nothing, just the bread. It was DELICIOUS! No more having nasty sandpaper bread, that you have to toast or put in the microwave. No more will my kitchen smell nasty from toasting or microwaving the bread. No more warm ham & cheese sandwiches or warm peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, NO MORE.
