This Non Dairy Milk Alternative is delicious served Hot or Cold. Vitamin enriched - contains as much calcium as milk. This can will make 5 liquid quarts. Just add water.

Ingredients: Maltodextrin (from potatoes), crystalline fructose, sucrose, dutch processed cocoa, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, salt, potassium citrate, carrageenan, dicalcium phosphate, natural flavors (no MSG), tricalcium phosphate, titanium dioxide (an inert mineral), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), dl alpha tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Vitamin A palmitate, niacinamide (vitamin B3), calcium pantothenate, vitamin D3, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin K1,thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), biotin.

Directions: In a mixer/server, blender or a container with a screw-on-lid, add 1 1/2 cups of DariFree (more or less for a creamier or lighter taste) to about 2 cups of hot or cold water (hot water makes a creamer mix). Blend or shake vigorously until thoroughly mixed (will not mix well by stirring only). Add enough cold water to make 2 quarts and chill. For DariFree hot chocolate, add enough hot water to make 2 quarts. Stir well before serving and enjoy.

For a single serving add 3 heaping teaspoons to 1 cup of hot water and chill.

After mixing with water, DariFree will stay fresh at least a week with refrigeration.

I followed the suggestions of others and tried this as a frozen desert base in my ice cream maker- I used it double strength and it made a great ice cream substitute that reminded me of Fudge-o Popsicles. Yum!!

I am using this with good results to make a suitable hot chocolate recipe mix that I can take to work. Based on the suggestion from other reviewers, I mix this "extra strength" and it's wonderful. Also tastes good just to drink.

I like the taste when the powder is doubled. Good chocolate flavor. Other than that it's a little weak as mixed. One of my boys will drink it, the other will not.

DariFree had a refreshingly good taste after trying many other milk substitutes such as rice, almond and hemp. This is as close to milk as we have found, and is the only thing my son will drink. It also is a great base for homemade ice cream.
