    I diagnosed myself for gluten intolerance after a lifetime of bizarre, seemingly unrelated afflictions. If my doctors had their way, I would have already undergone neck surgery, still be on 3 different inhalers for asthma, be vomiting daily and having chronic panic attacks. However, since eliminating gluten from my diet in May 2009, I no longer suffer from any of those things. Even with the proof in the pudding (or gluten) my doctors now want me to ingest gluten to test for celiac-no can do.

    Last night I made macaroni & cheesefor dinner using Riega Yellow Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix. The saucecame out perfect, and was creamy, cheesy, and flavorful. Our wholefamily loved it, and what I really liked about it was being able touse my favorite gluten-free macaroni noodles, as I am very pickyabout my pasta. This is one of the best gluten-free cheese saucesthat I've tried, and it was quick and easy to prepare. This familyfavorite is always welcome for a quick hot lunch, or a dinnertimeside dish, and I will keep these on hand from now on.

    Adding fiber to your diet is important for a number of reasons, including dieting, lowering blood cholesterol, or managing or preventing diabetes or heart disease.  That being said, I recently came across psyllium fiber from Konsyl that is not only gluten-free, but also happens to be one of the most effective means of adding concentrated extra fiber to your diet. 
    I also appreciate the fact that Konsyl Original Psyllium Fiber doesn't contain artificial flavors or additives, and is also sugar-free.  When I first tried Konsyl I have to say that I was impressed with the purity of the ingredients in comparison to other brands that I've tried in the past. 
    Just after a light lunch I mixed up one teaspoon of Konsyl fiber with 8 ounces of water and drank it, and followed this up with another cup or two of water. I noticed that I felt full until dinner, as psyllium fiber is not digested by the body and gives one the sensation of feeling full without adding any extra calories.

    I tried out a new app called “Gluten Free Bartender.”  This app is designed to make life easier for people to find gluten-free drinks. The “Drinks” section opens by default, and in it you will find categories: beers, champagne, ciders, liquors, mixers, wine coolers, wines, and miscellaneous.
    What I really liked about the app was the ability to view categories by brand, or by recipes that can be made using a particular brand.  You can also easily add items and recipes to a “Favorites” list. Another nice feature is the ability to see dated gluten-free information about the product which comes directly from the manufacturer, including contact information.

    So i recently had a baby and 3 months postpartum I started celery juicing and after juicing my stomach would be in so much pain. So I stopped it for a while and a whole month no pain or issues. I made an apt with a GI doctor to just get my blood work checked everything came back great except the Ema it was 1:20 he said it was strange because all the other Celiac panel test were negative my Ttg and the genetic screening even. So I made an apt with another doctor for second opinion she stated
    I am celiac and eat gluten-free, DF, SF and sunflower free because I'm highly reactive to all 4. I discovered about a year and a half ago that I would have severe and immediate GI reactions, similar to as if I ate dairy, to anything with sunflower/safflower products in it, but I think that's when using the oil became more prevalent too. Strange because I loved sunflower seeds as a kid. I've also linked it to places I've eaten out where everything was fine and then discovered they started using s
