    Gluten Out's Gluten-Free Tiramisu
    I just enjoyed the most amazing gluten-free tiramisu, something I've missed since going gluten-free nine years ago!  This traditional Italian dessert from GlutenOut is made in Italy, but amazingly it can be delivered right to your door.  Each layer of the tiramisu was perfect, and it had such a wonderful light and fluffy texture--yet each bite was so wonderfully rich and satisfying.  Each package of the tiramisu held two perfectly proportioned servings which took only a short period of time to defrost. Did I mention that they are also made in a dedicated gluten-free facility?

    JD's Best Gluten Free Doughnut Holes
    I was really excited when I received a cooler full of JD's Best Gluten Free Doughnut Holes. I haven't had a doughnut hole since before I went gluten-free.
    The preparation instructions were simple enough, and I decided use a toaster oven rather than a microwave. After preheated the oven it only took around 7 minutes for them to become warm and slightly crispy—just enough time for me to get the coffee ready.
    The first thing that struck me as I bit into one was how perfectly JD’s had captured the exact taste and texture of the doughnut holes that I remember—they tasted just like the real thing!

    Jovial Foods Gluten-Free Organic Brown Rice Penne Rigate Pasta
    I recently tried Jovial Foods' Gluten-Free Organic Brown Rice Penne Rigate Pasta and was looking forward making my Grandmother's baked ziti dish using this penne rigate pasta.  Since I am super sensitive to gluten, I love the fact that Jovial Foods make their pasta in a dedicated gluten free facility and that it is also certified gluten-free.  
    I cooked the pasta just a few minutes under the required time on the packaging, since it would also be baked after.  When I sampled the pasta by itself, I was very pleased by the taste and texture.  After my tasting of Jovial Foods gluten free pasta, I had high hopes that my Grandmother's dish would finally turn out—not only for those that are gluten free in my family— but one that I can serve to those that are not on a gluten-free diet. 
    When I took the dish from the oven it looked beautiful!  When I scooped out each serving, the pasta held its shape remarkably well, and everyone was excited to dig in.  Jovial's Brown Rice Penne Rigate was a success and sadly we didn't have any left overs, but I know I will be making this dish with Jovial's pasta again soon.

    Amy's Gluten-Free Tofu Scramble Breakfast Wrap
    If your looking for a quick grab and go breakfast or a satisfying snack that is gluten free, dairy free and also vegan, then I would suggest Amy's Gluten-free Tofu Scramble Breakfast Wrap.  You can either microwave it just shy of 2 minutes, or put it in the oven if you prefer a crispier wrap. 
    This wrap is filled with organic vegetables like tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms and spinach.  Amy's wrap also has organic hash browns which I think gives it more of that “comfort food” feeling, along with plenty of organic tofu of course. 
    In my opinion, this was well seasoned, and I really liked how they blended all of these nutritional ingredients to make not just a healthy breakfast alternative, but a tasty one as well. 
    Amy's Gluten-free Tofu Scramble is wrapped up like a burrito, but I would have to say that the texture of the wrap reminds me more of a crêpe than it does a tortilla, but I like it just the same.  In addition to tasting great, this wrap contains 11 grams of protein and has no trans fat, MSG or preservatives – not a bad way to start the day!

    I have a theory about my lipomas. I have just recently been diagnosed with hashimotos which is an auto immune disorder. Apparently having one auto immune disorder puts you at greater risk for other immune disorders. I believe cancerous tumors come from the immune system trying to contain and fight the cancer. And my theory is that lipomas come from the immune system targeting fat cells thinking they are bad invaders so they get contained just as a malignant tumor would. I have several lipomas on my lower arms and thighs. I have just been put on a gluten free diet by my doctor for my hashimotos as well as having to take selenium, probiotics and L glutamine daily. Anyways, I believe lipomas are just another auto immune disorder that just might also be fixed by diet and fixing gut issues since the immune system is tightly connected to gut health. Just my two cents.
    Again Primal Kitchen is canola free, they use Avocado Oil in all their mayo, dressings, sauces. I would suggest them for Mayo, Salad Dressings, Sauces, and Condiments. They are grain free also with Paleo Diet base (diet of our ancestors)
