    Sweet Hot Pepper Chicken Wings (Gluten-Free)

      Ground pepper and honey make a great coating for these chicken wings.

    Celiac.com 02/25/2017 - Here's a great recipe for game day or for grill day. These sweet and spicy chicken wings will hit the spot. Various kinds of pepper dance with honey and garlic to deliver this surefire hit.

    Ingredients:

    • 5 pounds chicken wings, wingtips removed
    • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 teaspoons ground lemon pepper
    • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 2 tablespoon sweet paprika
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 4 medium cloves garlic, smashed to a paste with a little salt
    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • ½ cup honey, room temperature
    • kosher salt 

    Directions:
    Lay the chicken wings out on a baking sheet and season well with salt and pepper, then transfer to a large mixing bowl.

    Add all ingredients, except honey and stir until mixed.

    Add honey and stir until mixed and evenly coated.

    Let sit for 1 hour at room temperature, or cover and refrigerate for up to overnight.

    Heat the oven to 375F.

    Spread the wings evenly in a large roasting pan or baking sheet.

    Roast, uncovered, until they are nicely browned and crisp, about 1 hour.

    Turn as needed.

    Serve.

    1 cup corn meal
    1 teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Put other ingredients into a Ziploc bag, seal, and shake to mix. Drop a couple of pieces of the chicken into the corn meal mixture, seal the bag, and shake to coat. Remove to plate. Repeat until all of the chicken is coated. These can be fried in a deep fryer, in a skillet, or sprayed with PAM and baked at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    2 cup rice flour
    ½ tablespoon paprika
    ¼ tablespoon cayenne
    2 tablespoon white sesame seeds
    1 quart cold soda water
    4 single chicken breasts-cut into strips
    Salt to taste
    In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne and sesame seeds. Whisk in the soda until a pancake batter consistency is achieved. Dip the chicken fingers individually in the batter and fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Season with salt.

    This simple recipe comes to us from Jennifer Gross.
    Coat chicken thighs with potato starch and pan-fry them in oil. When theyre done, remove the chicken and adds potato starch to the pan drippings and mix it into a paste. Slowly stir in milk and stir constantly until the gravy thickens to desired preference. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    In addition to being high in fat, deep-frying can sometimes be a hassle, especially in the summer, since it can heat up the house. So on hot summer days, or when I want a healthier version of my favorite chicken wings, I cook them outside on the grill.
    Here's a recipe for chicken wings you can do on the grill. These wings taste great with your favorite gluten-free beer or other summertime beverages, and are sure to please your hungriest snackers.
    Ingredients:
    25 chicken wings, segmented and patted dry with paper towels ½ cup unsalted butter, melted 1½ cups hot pepper sauce (Louisiana Brand or other gluten-free brand) 2 tablespoons garlic powder 2 tablespoons onion power 2 tablespoons paprika 4 tablespoons lemon pepper 2 tablespoons coarse-ground black pepper Directions:
    In a large mixing bowl, mix together garlic and onion powders, paprika, lemon pepper and black pepper.
    In a smaller bowl, stir in the melted butter, gluten-free hot pepper sauce and mix well.
    Combine garlic powder, and black pepper together in a large mixing bowl, and mix well.
    Note: If you buy frozen chicken wings, make sure they are well-thawed before you start preparing them.
    Place chicken wings into a non-metallic bowl and pour some of the hot sauce mixture over them. Mix until they are well coated. Reserve the rest of the sauce for later. Keep the reserved sauce warm enough to keep the butter melted.
    One by one, use tongs to place the chicken wings in the spice mixture and place on a plate. I usually let them sit for a half hour or so to dry a bit before cooking.
    Place the wings on a medium-high heat on the grill--about 350-375 degrees F. Be sure to turn them as necessary and cook to desired crispness.
    Grilled chicken wings tend to flare up quite a bit on the grill, so it’s a good idea to keep a squirt bottle of water near the grill.
    Add the cooked wings to the sauce and turn to coat; transfer to a serving platter.
    I like to serve them with sides of gluten-free ranch, or blue cheese dressing, along with some celery and/or carrot sticks. Oh, and don't forget your favorite gluten-free beer or beverages.

    I've checked out all these places and non of them have gluten-free beignets, maybe just donuts. Thanks for sending.
