Celiac.com 02/01/2019 - Little Northern Bakehouse makes delicious gluten-free and allergy-friendly bread and buns with the taste and texture of the real thing.

We know gluten-free options can be hard to find, especially for celiacs and people with allergies and sensitivities. Since we’re foodies at heart, we never compromise on taste and we always go the extra mile to find the newest food trends—hello, pickled avocado toast and French toast casserole—and share it with our passionate community of friends and fans. After all, eating gluten-free shouldn’t mean being stuck with sandy or crumbly foods and dull recipes; it should be satisfying, delicious, and easy to share.

We never compromise on food quality, so every loaf is certified gluten-free to a threshold of less than 10 parts per million (ppm)—that’s 50% below the threshold accepted by the FDA, FDR, and Celiac Disease Foundation. We are also proudly plant-based and non-GMO verified by the Non-GMO Project , meaning no eggs or dairy are used to bind our breads or buns. We go the extra mile to do a voluntary third-party glyphosate-free check on all our foods to make sure they are free of glyphosate, the main active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, which has been deemed a probable carcinogen (cancer-causing) by the World Health Organization.

On top of our exceptionally high standards, we use a small list of the best gluten-free ingredients so our breads and buns are soft and smooth or lightly textured with healthy gluten-free seeds for added crunch. Easy to enjoy fresh or toasted, your favorite foods will be ready to go from breakfast to dinner and BBQ to road trip. It’s so good, you might call it the best sliced bread since sliced bread.

    Guest Fantastic Bread!

I recently went to a restaurant and had a reuben on this bread and it was awesome! Even though the sauerkraut and Russian dressing add moisture to a reuben, the bread stayed together and was delicious! I asked our server if she could find out what kind of bread they used, and she happily told me and said many people had asked about it.

I will definitely check my local WalMart to see if they carry it!
